Weeping Moss: A down creeper moss
Weeping moss is one of the best moss to cover rocks, wood or any hardscape you like. This moss is the favorite moss of Jalashay Aquascape. For the good, dense growth of this moss, you need high intensity lights and proper Co2 injection. Fluctuation in Co2 supply, in other words, irregular Co2 bps (bubble per second) will impact on its growth and could cause algae on it.
Actually, this is the general rule for every kind of a moss. The stag-horn algae or hair algae grow quicker within the moss.
Another best idea to know your water parameters is to look at mosses, if any of your moss have algal growth, know that your water parameters are not good.
This is the underrated moss in Indian hobbyist. In our general survey, people neglect this moss just because lack of knowledge, they don’t know the growth habit of this moss and have less ideas to use it wisely in their aquascape. Most of them said “java moss is good because of easy to grow and have low cost”. They don’t even consider the perspective of their aquascape.
We strongly recommend this moss to cover rocks and wood other than java moss. Initially, you see the price tag, but trust us, after it grow, the entire look of your aquascape will amaze you.
